Operations
The Operations Team is responsible for an extensive range of non-instructional tasks essential to the overall functioning and success of the district. Their primary responsibilities encompass the management of school facilities, which includes ensuring the efficient execution of custodial, repair, maintenance, and groundskeeping activities. Moreover, the team plays a pivotal role in maintaining the district budget by collaborating closely with the school board and superintendent to establish guidelines and implement a thorough budget preparation process. The Operations Team is also in charge of energy management within the district, as energy costs constitute a significant portion of any school budget.
Additionally, the Operations Team manages the district's internal transportation facility, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school. They also oversee the Food & Nutrition Services department, which is critical in providing nutritious meals to support student health and academic success.
