The District is making changes to the meal distribution program for at least the next two weeks after learning recently that there was a positive COVID test result and exposure to staff who work in our District Operations Center.
Oct. 28-30: Meals will be delivered on Wednesday only. Families will receive three days' worth of breakfast and lunch on Wednesday.
Nov. 2-6: Meals will be delivered on Monday and Wednesday only. Families will receive two days' worth of breakfast and lunch on Monday. Families will receive three days’ worth of breakfast and lunch on Wednesday.
Meals will still be delivered at approximately the same times at the pick-up and drop-off locations for your bus route. If you aren’t eligible for bus transportation, meals can still be picked up at the school you attend.
Even though your orders may have already been placed, substitutions may be necessary.
Nutrition Services coordinator Amy Jungbluth said close to 3,000 meals were delivered to more than 850 children on Oct. 28 for the remainder of the week.
If the District needs to adjust the meal distribution program schedule after Nov. 2-6, familes will be notified next week.
