Have you heard about the WEB program? WEB stands for "Where Everyone Belongs." This program helps ease the transition for fifth-grade students entering middle school.
The WEB program is part of the Boomerang Project, which includes other transition programs like the high school link crew.
Eighth-grade students are trained by staff to become great leaders and role models. From there, they help lead assemblies and small group activities as WEB leaders.
Fifth-grade students will continue to meet with their assigned WEB leaders throughout the school year.
Many of their events are small group-based, but they can also look forward to larger-scale events such as game days and read-ins.
This is just another way we are building a strong community for our students!
Stay tuned for more fun events from the WEB program throughout the year!
