It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to Dr. Jan Chynoweth as the new Director of Secondary Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment at the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District. Dr. Chynoweth, an esteemed addition to our team, comes to us with a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to educational excellence.
Over the course of her impressive 26-year career in public education, Dr. Chynoweth has held several key positions, including Assistant Director of Student Services in Madison, Student Services Coordinator in Sun Prairie, and Assistant Principal in Monona Grove School District. Her diverse experience, combined with her dedication to fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment, makes her the perfect fit for leading our secondary curriculum.
Dr. Chynoweth's academic background is equally notable. She has earned a PhD in Educational Leadership, an MS in Educational Administration, and an MS in Communicative Disorders, all from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. This solid foundation in educational theory and leadership will undoubtedly guide our District as we strive to provide the best possible educational experiences for our students.
