Twenty-nine DECA members recently competed at the State Career Development Conference in Lake Geneva. The students performed role plays and took a marketing-related exam to test their knowledge of marketing-related concepts.
Nineteen members qualified for the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Anaheim, California, at the end of April. "For being the largest group I've ever taken to State, they sure didn't disappoint," said Robert Hutchison, DECA Advisor for the Middleton chapter. "This will also be my largest group of qualifiers going to ICDC. I'm excited to see how they do in Anaheim."
Additionally, Middleton High School Junior Nuha Khatri was elected to serve as President of Wisconsin DECA for the 2024-25 school year. "I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead such an impactful organization. DECA has truly changed the course of my life, and I am beyond honored to have been elected into a position where I have the ability to further my positive impact alongside an amazing group of leaders," said Khatri. "I am very proud of the Middleton chapter's success at this year's DECA State Conference!"
