2024—2025 Enrollment Update

Jerrud Rossing, Assistant Superintendent, provided an update on the most recent enrollment numbers as of August 12, 2024. A few highlights included:

  • Our anticipated enrollment total is 7,169, which is a change of 120 students from the last report on July 8, 2024.

  • The District currently has 21 more students than was initially projected.

  • Class sizes are expected to be average size.

Update on Athletic Projects

Jerrud Rossing, Assistant Superintendent of Operations, presented an update on the athletic projects at Middleton High School. The tennis court construction started in June. Due to weather conditions, the project is running a month behind schedule and should be completed at the end of September 2024.

Construction on the softball and baseball fields has not yet started due to pending zoning approval from the City of Middleton. The District is collaborating with the city to develop a natural grass softball field instead of artificial turf.
