MHS Junior and entrepreneur, Michael Mounajjed, has received the huge honor of 2022 Junior Achievement Young Entrepreneur of the Year and 2022 Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Young Entrepreneur of the Year!
Michael's company, Calceus Mining, sells cryptocurrency mining equipment and consulting that has earned over $600,000 in revenue since launching in the past two years.
As a finalist for the competition, Michael presented a live pitch to Wisconsin CEOs including Greg Marcus (Marcus Cinemas), Craig Culver (Culver's) and more. He was selected as the winner after pitching alongside 3 other finalists.
Michael's grand prize winnings include a $10,000 prize and an induction into Wisconsin’s Business Hall of Fame in June.
Outside of his business, Michael is involved with FBLA, DECA, and Entrepreneurship Club. He also owns a non-profit called Student Connect to help other students grow their passions into sustainable careers and experiences.
