Students in the Math Moves seminar were exploring dancing with props this week. They each had two sticks connected to form an angle of their choice. They moved with these sticks to explore angle properties, shapes, and similarity and congruence while reviewing geometry transformations in their movement. This was an excellent team building experience as students had a challenge to be able to create different figures and then move together translating and rotating in a fluid way. The class is also loving having access to the beautiful black box theater space in the new MCPASD High School Building!
Congratulations to Natalie on earning her Autodesk Revit Certification! Natalie will be heading to Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in the fall and will be pursuing a degree in interior design and architecture. There are great things ahead, Natalie!!!!
