Congratulations to our new graduates!
On June 5th, 2022, the District had the honor of recognizing the senior class during the 2022 Commencement Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center.
During the ceremony, guests and students alike were inspired by the words of student speakers Grace DeCroix, Margaret Aiyenero, and Michael Roach. Middleton High School Principal Peg Shoemaker and Clark Street Community School Principal Jill Gurtner addressed the senior class following the student speakers. Principal Shoemaker then formally recognized students John "Jack" Miller and Evan Kratochwill by welcoming their families to accept the diplomas on their behalf.
Both students and one former MHS student, Simon Bilessi, were tragically lost during a car accident in the Fall of 2021. Students wore pins that read "Forever in our hearts, Evan, Jack, and Simon."
Superintendent Dr. Dana Monogue also expressed her pride and excitement during her acceptance of the 2022 senior class speech.
Following the presentation of diplomas, she had the honor of announcing to the senior class that they may change over their tassels, as they were now high school graduates!
We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have accomplished during their academic careers. The 2022 senior class is comprised of a diverse and talented group of students. We wish them the best of luck as they continue higher education, enter the workforce, join the military, or take a gap year. Congratulations once again to our new graduates! We wish you all the best in your next chapter!
