The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District (MCPASD) is honored to announce that Nicole Victor has been selected as the principal of Clark Street Community School and 9-12 Innovation, effective July 1, 2025.

Victor brings extensive experience and passion for personalized, democratic, and place-based learning to MCPASD. She joins MCPASD from Parkview School District, where she served as administrator and curriculum developer for the Parkview Academy of Virtual Education.

With more than 20 years of experience in education, Victor is known for her collaborative leadership, strategic thinking, and dedication to creating equitable learning environments that support each student’s unique learning journey. Her leadership has consistently focused on continuous improvement, professional development, and innovative curriculum design.

Victor holds a Master’s of Education in Administration from William Woods University and is certified as a Director of Instruction, Principal, and Director of Pupil Services. Her expertise in overseeing online education platforms, building positive school cultures, and supporting staff development aligns well with Clark Street Community School’s mission and vision.

She looks forward to working with the passionate community of learners, educators, and families at Clark Street Community School. She is committed to continuing the school’s legacy of inspiring learning experiences and engaging deeply with the Middleton community. Victor will focus on supporting personalized learning and fostering connections that span local, regional, and global communities.

“I've been genuinely inspired by the dedication here, and I can't wait to work with all of you – students, staff, and families – to continue the fantastic work already happening,” Victor said. “I believe in creating a place where everyone feels empowered to learn and try new things. I'm ecstatic to start this journey with you all, and together, we'll build a future filled with learning and achievement."

Victor said she looks forward to building on the legacy of Dr. Jill Gurtner, who will retire in June after 30 years with MCPASD and whose visionary leadership transformed Clark Street Community School into the innovative, learner-centered model it is today.
