We are thrilled to announce that five students from Middleton High School and two from Madison Metropolitan School District, comprising the all-girls team "Attack Hamsterz," have secured a coveted spot at the Wisconsin First Tech Challenge (FTC) State Championship on March 2, 2024 in Milwaukee. The all-girls team achievement marks a significant milestone for Attack Hamsterz, breaking barriers in their second consecutive year of competition.

Notably, the team, known as MR. COD (Mechanical Rainbow Cats of Doom) is also set to compete in the March 2, 2024, State Championship. The team is comprised of multiple Middleton High School students. The quirky name, an acronym, traces its roots back to the team's inaugural year of competition when they were just nine years old. The team is beginning their retirement on a high note with the state competition, as half of the team will graduate later this year.
