The MCPASD Education Foundation will hold another Days of Giving campaign with Community Change on Nov. 11-12.
Shop the Community Change website on those days, select MCPASD at checkout and 100 percent of your order up to $10 in value will be donated to the Education Foundation. If you spend more than $10, don't worry. The Foundation will still get 20 percent of what you spend above that amount.
The deals on the Community Change website change weekly but among the best Madison offers available now are a Best Sellers Pack that costs $12, a savings of $98, and their popular Restaurant Pack, which costs $20 and saves you more than $300.
Every dollar raised during this promotion will be used for teacher grants in the spring of 2014. The Foundation has already raised more than $1,100 for teacher grantsvin the past year through its partnership with Community Change and will hand out more than $7,000 in grants to teachers in 2013.
Also, The Middleton UPS Store will give $1 to the Education Foundation for every box shipped on the first three Fridays of December (Dec. 6, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20).
A year ago, The Middleton UPS Store had more than 400 boxes shipped during those three dates, UPS Store owner Keith Johnston said. The promotion does not include pre-paid drop-offs, he said.
The money raised from the campaign will be used for a teacher grant in the spring, Johnston said. Grant guidelines will be determined early in 2014, Education Foundation Specialist Perry Hibner said.
"This is our busiest time of the year and I want to do what I can to help our area teachers,'' he said.
