The warm sounds of the Caribbean are coming to Sauk Trail on Friday, Feb. 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
There will be a live band, salsa dancing, and great food. Sauk Trail’s PTO is putting this event together along with music teacher John Becker.
District nurse Danielle Krbecek will demonstrate dance steps. The live band, playing music of Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, features Laurie Lang Croasdale on bass, Chris Wagoner on violin, Chris Sandoval on drums, and Becker on piano and percussion.
"Thanks so much to our awesome PTO for all of their efforts in organizing this event, and to our district for the District Global Initiative funding to bring in these wonderful professional musicians to our Sauk Trail community,” Becker said.
