Park's Outdoor Education Areas Get a Spring Makover

Printer-friendly version

This spring we have been very fortunate to have quite a few different work crews working on the outdoor education areas at Park School.

Ryan Goth burned our prairie.  He has done the burn every other year for many years.

The fifth, sixth and seventh grade girl scout troops cleared the woodland trail to the top.  You are now able to see the Town of Cross Plains from the top of our trail!

In addition, members of the Lions Club (Doc Esser and Kent McDonald) and the Swamplovers ( Lee Swanson) has removed invasive plants and nonnative trees from the lower woodland area.

A special thanks to all of our volunteers who are creating a special place for outdoor learning to occur for our students!
