Academic Resources and Planning
Infinite Campus: All parents/guardians and students have access to grades and attendance in Infinite Campus. This communication tool allows students and parents/guardians to monitor academic progress.
All School Resource (ASR): ASR is a 90-minute block (divided into two sections) at the end of every B day where students can get help from their teachers. All students (with the exceptions of seniors) are required to sign up for ASR using an online system called Flexisched. Students may also be reserved by teachers for ASR.
Advisory Program: Four Year Academic Planning is designed for the personalization and social/emotional support for all students.
After Hour: Offers support and tutoring if a student is struggling in a class. Available after school and is led by MHS staff.
Achievement Connections: Achievement Connections is a math tutoring program that focuses mostly on Algebra I and Geometry.
Academic Concerns: If a student is struggling in a class it is generally best to contact the teacher as a first step.
Switching/dropping classes: Switching and/or dropping classes is sometimes possible. The criteria and procedure for schedule change requests and dropping courses can be found in the course offering book, which is available on the MHS website under For Parents/For Students.
