The District is looking to add regular and substitute bus drivers who will work with children of all age levels for the 2019-20 school year.
Pay starts at $18.75 an hour and goes up to $21.67 an hour depending on experience. Special trips, which include field trips and athletic events, are currently paid out at $15 an hour.
Prospective drivers need a commercial driver's license and can have up to one moving violation in the past three years. Hours are also flexible. The District will train anyone interested in filling a position. Once certified you could be assigned a regular route or you could be added to the District's substitute list.
Additional benefits, including health insurance, are also available for drivers who meet minimum hours requirements. There are also additional work opportunities in the District for drivers looking for more hours.
