Country Breakfast set for Jan. 13

The 24th annual Country Breakfast, hosted by the MHS Choral Boosters, will be held on Sunday, Jan. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the MHS Student Center.

The highlight of the breakfast will be individual and group performances from students participating in the MHS choirs. The performances will run the entire day, while breakfast will be served until 1 p.m.

Come enjoy the broad variety of music along with all-you-can-eat pancakes plus sausage, eggs, fruit, yogurt and beverages. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children 10 and under. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event and can also be purchased online.

In addition, student performances, including solos and small groups, will take place throughout the day. Here is the latest schedule of performances:

This is the MHS choral program's biggest fundraiser of the year, publicity director Jeanne Weiss said. Funds generated are used to provide guest conductors and clinicians, solo and ensemble accompanists, music and supplies, field trips and scholarship assistance to students.
