Big weekend for MHS band

The MHS marching band participated at the Greendale Marching Invitational on Saturday and the Saber Marching Invite in Franklin on Sunday.

The MHS marching band tok fourth in the AAAA Division, the largest of the four divisions, in Greendale and took first place in Franklin.

Percussion, which is made up of the drume line and front ensemble, took top honors at each invitational, topping a number of the top marching programs from all of Wisconsin. The low reeds were also specifically mentinoed in the third movement as a highlight by a number of judges.

The MHS color guard, which performed at Oak Creek a few weeks ago, took second place at the Greendale Marching Invitational.
