Middleton High School is the  new favorite spot for WISC-Ch. 3.

Two MHS teachers -- social studies teacher David Piovanetti and physics teacher Angie Humphrey -- have been selected WISC-TV Ch. 3's Top-Notch Teacher for December and November, respectively.

News anchor Charlotte Deleste interviewed Piovanetti and filmed one of his U.S. Government and Politics classes in November. The segment aired on "Live at Five" on Monday, Dec. 2. It also re-aired the next morning and is available on the station's Channel 3000 website. A 30-second commercial will also air on WISC-TV and TVW for the remainder of the month.

Meanwhile, morning anchor Rob Starbuck visited the school in late October to interview Humphrey and film one of her classes. The segment aired on "Live at Five" on Monday, Nov. 4. It also re-aired the next morning and is available on the station's website.

Five MCPASD teachers have been honored in the past two years. Park fifth-grade teacher Jenniper Hylbert was selected in March 2013. Northside physical education teacher Tom Cabalka was selected in May 2012, while Sunset Ridge second-grade teacher Cindy Wolfinger was selected in January 2012.
