Fall Orchestra Concert set for Nov. 20

The MHS orchestras will kick off their 2019-20 season with their Fall Orchestra Concert on Wednesday, Nov. 20 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center.

All three MHS orchestras will be performing. The Cardinal Orchestra will be playing Mozart, Meyer, Del Borgo, and Spata.  The MHS Sinfonia will be playing music by Dvorak, Svendsen, and de Falla and the MHS Symphony will play Serenade for Strings by Samuel Barber, Idylls by Leos Janacek, Music from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite (including senior Cindy Stefanek as a dancing Sugar Plum Fairy), and the opening movement from Beethoven's Symphony No.5.

This concert is free and the public is encouraged to attend. A reception will follow the concert.
