The Middleton-Cross Plains Area Board of Education voted to start the 2020-21 school year with a virtual model of education. We will consider the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association’s (WIAA) proposal to create alternative athletic calendars because of the current highly restrictive Public Health Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) sports guidelines that Dane County schools MUST abide by. The WIAA Board of Control is scheduled to meet on August 14, and we hope to have more information on what alternative fall season opportunities will look like following this meeting.
Middleton High School will look to provide whatever opportunities are available based on WIAA guidance for fall sports, ensuring that they are reflective of our schooling model and public health guidance. Please continue to check the MHS Athletics website for updates
All athletic forms, except the medical clearance form, will be submitted electronically when you sign-up to register your student(s) online. The forms will auto-populate at the time that you choose the sport your athlete would like to participate in.
Students participating in a sport for the 2020-21 school year must have a current physical form on file. All physicals must be dated after April 1, 2019. Please email athletics assistant Mindy Ripp if you are not sure if your athlete has a current physical on file. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
NOTE: ALL MEDICAL CLEARANCE FORMS MUST BE TURNED INTO THE ATHLETIC OFFICE PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF TRYOUTS/PRACTICE OR YOUR STUDENT WILL BE INELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE UNTIL A VALID DATE IS ON FILE.
All sport schedules can be found at this link
The schedules are maintained and updated in real time. If there is a cancellation, rainout, or simply rescheduled, you can see that immediately.
