Twenty-five Kromrey students attended the Wisconsin Association of Student Councils state conference in Green Bay on Sunday and Monday.
Katy Briggs took first place in the writing competition, while Bryson Bauer took first place for his speech, "Goals & Dreams.''
Sixth-grader Brandon Dunk was elected to the state governing board. He was also elected by his peers and advisors as vice president of Region 5. He will serve a one-year term.
"We had a great time up here,'' Kromrey student council co-adviser Ellen Fox said. "KMS should be proud of the great role models they we sent as delegates this year.'
"Student Council members had a great time networking with other student councils from the entire state and learned valuable skills to continue on their leadership path.''
The delegates participated in the small and large group leadership seminars. Some students also participated in individual and small group competitions by making speeches, writing, scrapbook, and banner making, Fox said.
