Verification e-mails have gone out to everyone who has already signed up to volunteer. If you thought you have already signed up, but have not received an e-mail, please contact Teresa Deleo at tmdeleo@msn.com. Dear Families,

We are turning the corner to warmer temperatures and a reminder about dress code is in order.  Please be aware that we will have converstions with students who may be violating dress code specifics and they may be asked to call you to bring appropriate clothing in if they don't have any with them.

The main dress code violations we deal with during warmer weather are:
1) Inseam on shorts are to be at least 4 inches
2) Tops must cover undergarment straps
3) Shirts with necklines that keep the chest covered
4) Racer tops with a back strap at least 2 inches wide
We would appreciate if you would have this discussion at home.

Yes, track and field season is coming soon for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls. Parents and students are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, March 20th at 6:00PM in the KMS Main Gym.  At this meeting, you will be able to:
1) Meet the coaches
2) Pick up information on practices and meet dates
3) Pay fees
4) Check on the physical card status
5) Order track apparel.
6) Ask questions
If you are unable to attend, please see Mr. Schmidlkofer before the meeting. You may also email him atjschmidlkofer@mcpasd.k12.wi.us

Kromrey and Glacier Creek Orchestra students will be performing at our annual Dessert Concert on Tuesday, March 18, at 7:00 pm in the Glacier Creek Cafetorium. Driving maps to Glacier Creek have been sent home with all KMS students - please call if you have any questions!

Our theme this year is "Musical Adventures", with action-packed music and special sound effects. Students will be combined together into three large groups (by grade level), and the concert will last less than an hour.  Families are invited to bring some dessert to share and hot/cold beverages will be provided. See you there at 6:45pm!

Mrs. Wymore

Dear Parents,

Kromrey Middle School Music Department is in need of a piano. We hope you can help us raise the funds to put a new piano in the beautiful new school that our community is building. Just recently at the Solo and Ensemble event at Kromrey many noted the poor condition of the pianos. Many of you were already aware of this, but you may not know that there are no funds available for upgraded music equipment for our new school. We hope you are willing to help start the process of getting better equipment for our children by contributing to the "88 Keys" program.

We want to thank George Martin, the owner of Martin's House of Pianos & Organs in Platteville, WI for offering a Kawai K-3 upright piano at a fraction of its' retail cost.

Details: "88 Keys" Fundraiser Purchase one of the 88 keys on the piano to help Kromrey Middle School acquire the Kawai K-3 upright piano.

How it works:  Each of the 88 keys on the piano key board has been assigned a dollar value of $54.00. You can "purchase" a key by donating this amount.

To Purchase a Key:

1. Send an email to Nicole Newcomer at pablonewco@yahoo.comPlease be sure to put "88 Keys" in the subject line of the email.

2. Once you have received confirmation that there is a key available to purchase, contributors can make all checks payable to MCPASD Education Foundation. Please put "88 Keys" in the memo line of your check.

3. Send your written inscription (you may use up to 25 characters, including spaces and punctuation) along with your payment to:  Nicole Newcomer, 3627 Associates Way, Middleton WI 53562.

4. As a Thank You, donor names will be inscribed ona  wall plaque that will be displayed in one of the five new music rooms at Kromrey Middle School.

Lets do our best to get this done by May 15th! If you have questions please contact Nicole Newcomer at 608-206-7668.  Your donations are fully tax deductible!.

Thank you for your contribution!
