Students joining an after school activity will be required to turn in the following before the first meeting: 

1.     Completed physical card or alternate year card for any WIAA sport
2.     Completed Emergency Card
3.     Concussion Sign-off for Sports/Intramurals AND Downhill Ski
4.     Pay fee on-line

Physical Cards

A student may not participate in interscholastic without a physical form on file.  A physical examination taken April 1 and thereafter is valid for the following two school years.  If a student had a physical last year, a signed alternate year card will be required for the second year. Interscholastic Sports

This involves competition with schools in the middle level Badger Conference and is open to 7th/8th grade students.  No student will be allowed to participate without a current physical card. A student must participate in a minimum number of practices before he/she can participate in a game according to WIAA rule. 

Cross Country ($36 Fee)

Cross Country is an interscholastic sport for 7th and 8th graders and is considered an intramural sport for 6th graders; the difference being that the 6th graders do not travel and compete against other schools.  This sport involves training for long distance running.  Cross-country runs from September – October.

Track and Field ($36 Fee)

This is an interscholastic sport for 7th and 8th graders.  Participants are allowed to compete in four events per meet: 2 track/2 field, 3 track/1field, or 3 field/1 track.  The running events include short and long distance races plus relays.  Field events include shot put, discus, long jump, and high jump.  We have meets with other area schools.  Track is held April - May

Wrestling ($36 Fee)

Wrestling is an interscholastic sport for 7th and 8th graders with the 6th graders
participating as an intramural (6th graders do not wrestle at meets unless agreed upon by both schools).  It is coached through the wrestling program at Middleton High School.  Wrestling runs October, November, December.

Intramural Volleyball ($21 Fee) No physical is needed to participate

Volleyball is offered as an intramural sport for 7th and 8th graders.  Students have the opportunity to develop basic fundamental skills of the game and develop team work necessary for competition.  Sixth grade runs the month of September.  Seventh and eighth grade runs the month of October.
