The MHS Co-Curricular Carnival will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the MHS Courtyard.

This is the sixth year the carnival has been held. There will be games, good and prizes, and all elementary-aged students are welcome. There is not cost to attend.

"We hold it to draw attention to our clubs and sports so that children can see what to look forward to,'' MHS athletic director Bob Joers said.

Each club or sport is asked to make up a game. In previous years there have been bobbing for apples, a toilet paper toss, cupcake making, ping pong toss and inflatables. Students will receive tickets for each game they participate in and the tickets can be redeemed for prizes.

"It has always been a huge success last year and the kids love it,'' said Kathleen Shaffer, the athletic and activities assistant at MHS who helps coordinate the event.
