Pope Farm Elementary School: Construction began on the District's seventh elementary school in June 2019. The project is expected to be completed for the start for the 2020-21 school year. Pope Farm will have capacity for 525 students and helps ease capacity concerns as five of the six current elementary schools are at 95 percent or more capacity.
Park Elementary School: Construction to add a cafeteria just north of the current building began in late March 2020. The project is expected to be completed for the start of the 2020-21 school year. Park is the only one of the current MCPASD elementary schools that doesn't have its own cafeteria. Lunch is currently served in the school's gymnasium.
Middleton High School: Construction began to expand and rebuilt much of the current Middleton High School in March 2020. The project has been split into two phases. The first phase, a new expansion to the north, is expected to be completed for the start of the 2021-22 school year. The second phase, which involves demolishing parts of the current school on the south end that date back to 1929 along with other updates, is expected to be completed for the start of the 2022-23 school year. When it is completed, MHS will have capacity for 3,000 students. Clark Street Community School will also move into the new addition to the north.
