Eligibility/Contribution Information
An employee is eligible for health coverage if they:

​a) currently qualify as ACA (Affordable Care Act)-    "Full Time" under the measurement  method  selected by the employer group (ALE); or
b) are currently scheduled or expected to work 30 hours per week.

  • Coverage effective first of the month following date of employment
  • Dependent eligibility – Spouse/Domestic Partner and Dependents up to age 26
  • District contribution begins at 85% for full-time employees, prorated accordingly for part-time employees -
    additional 3% district contribution for Annual Health Risk participants

If you are hired into a position that is benefit eligible (30 hours minimum per week) and choose to decline enrollment in the benefit plans, you will need to complete a WAIVER.

Please contact the Benefits Specialist if you are a new hire and would like to enroll or if you are an existing plan participant needing to update your coverage status.
