Emotional Regulation for Students on the Autism Spectrum

Participants will learn why and how emotional regulation may be challenging for (some students, including some of those on the autism spectrum) individuals on the autism spectrum.  Participants will also examine what behaviors we might see when emotional disregulation occurs.  Many strategies for assisting individuals to recognize, regulate, and communicate emotions will be presented.
