Note: The Middleton Cross Plains Area School District is no longer able to accept Substitute Teaching Permits.  You must hold a valid DPI Teaching License other than a Substitute Teaching Permit.

This is for day to day substitute assignments at all of our schools for the 2011-2012 school year. 

Susbstitutes must work in Special Education as a teacher or a para-educator.

Wages are based on job positions:

$13.60 per hour for certified teachers 

$9.60 for para-educators and clerical

$12.00 for special education para-educators

Qualifications:

  • Valid Wisconsin teaching certificate (Not accepting Substitute Teaching Permits).
  • Substitutes will be emailed with an invitation to attend following completion of the refernce check process.
  • A New Substitute Orientation session is currently being scheduled for mid-late February or early March.** Please apply only if you are able to attend the Substitute Orientation.   
  • This is a paid orientation. **
